Meet the Owner!

A lifelong commitment to meaningful recreation

Hello, my name is Joann Canchola. I am the owner of Sweet Peas PPP. As a Recreation Therapist with more than 30 years of experience working with a variety of populations in residential and state facilities, I have always loved what I do. I also saw an unmet need in our community for recreation and leisure services for families whose children may have sensory needs or developmental delays.

Here for your family

Purposeful support, close to home.

We focus on what the child can do by building strengths and interest and we nurture individuality, confidence, and indolence. As in nature, seed development unfolds gradually. We honor progress, celebrate small wins and remain patient in the process as they grow.
